Gena Mabee Head Shot

Well it was supposed to be a head shot photo shoot, but it felt like I had a model photo shoot instead. . .nearly EVERY single shot was beautiful.

The lighting in this stunning location was out of this world and Gena ROCKED it in the midday indoor light bath.

She isn’t beautiful though because the light was great.  She isn’t beautiful because she has flawless skin, radiant eyes, full lips and perfect cheekbones.

She radiates beauty because she is beauty.

Gena is confident, intelligent, charismatic, kind, generous, spiritual, compassionate and a natural leader. And that is just the short list.

She is in the final stages of authoring her first book and I look forward to witnessing the success that will surely follow.

I stole this quote from her FB wall because it reminds me so much of her.

Best wishes Gena!!!!

be the good

No Words. {Arizona Senior Photography}

No words.

Just pictures.

And lots of love.

A Little Bit of Texas {Arizona Family Photographer}

I have been taking family pictures of these sweet faces for a few years and I wasn’t sure if I would get a chance to again when they moved to Texas.

But they are BACK!  And they brought a little bit of Texas with them!

I loved seeing how much they had changed and especially loved when this little cow girl grabbed my hand to hold like we were best friends.

  I think we are now.

I know I am not the only one who is happy they are back.

The grandparents on both sides are over the moon they they are so much closer.

They love these little munchkins.

And who wouldn’t?!

Trevor: class of 2013 {Arizona Senior Photographer}

Behind those brown eyes, dashing smile and handsome face is a really great kid.

And I can still call him a kid because he is not 18 yet.

And his mom says I can.

And I am not letting him grow up any faster than he is allowed because he is a week older than my oldest daughter and she is not allowed to grow up either.

Trevor, being the great KID that his is, is one of those boys who is respectful, considerate, hard working, an expert at any sport he tries, generous and has a heart that looks out for those who many ignore.

His siblings adore him and also tolerate his good natured tormenting.

They can pay him back by calling him “KID.”  Even after he turns 18.

It was my honor to spend an evening with this really great kid.

Kid.

KID!

10 years: Class of 2013 {Arizona Senior Portrait Photography}

For the last ten years I have watched Amy Rose grow up.

I’ve watched her tumble and cheer, dance and sing, smile and laugh.

She has blossomed into a beautiful young lady who is passionate about friends and life.

I adore her parents who teach me about Christ-like love and service.

Keep smiling Amy!

Ha ha, my fav!
