Girls, Girls, Girls! {Mesa, gilbert, Higley, Chandler Children’s Photographer}

Seems like I have had a lot of beautiful girls in front of my camera lately and these three are no exception!

There was so much going on with the shoot and the location and these 3 sisters acted like it was no big deal, no sweat, no problemo.

Maybe it was the beautiful weather?  Where else can you have half naked babies sitting in an orchard just days before Halloween!

Maybe it was the fun props and attention getters brought by mom and grandma?  It was like an outdoor toy store.

Or maybe it is just because they are just amazingly adorable and simply irresistible all the time?  I will let mom answer that, but I know I sure didn’t get my fill after the camera was off and I got my turn to hold, squeeze and cuddle!

Thanks for a fun filled night!!!

What a great theme this week at the I Heart Faces photo assignment.  It is to help bring awareness to Breast Cancer and the theme is pink to go along with it.  I wasn’t going to enter this contest.  Then on Friday night I had this awesome photo shoot with a beautiful family and they had a little pink going on.  I got some very sweet images and decided on a two different ones.  Then I asked the mom for permission to post in this assignment and she was happy to give the go ahead and then said this, “We lost Brett’s mom to breast cancer many years ago and its a cause very near and dear to our hearts.”

It was then I knew which picture to choose.

Here is Brett and Brooklyn Joy, son and granddaughter of Cindy Joy.

Shoot, I think I am gonna go cry now.

This post is dedicated in memory of Cindy Joy and the others who have passed because of this terrible disease.  It is also to honor those who continue to fight.  And finally, it is a reminder to men and women to check yourselves regularly and get a mammogram.

Seriously Sweet!!!!!: {mesa, chandler, Gilbert, Higley Family and Children’s Photographer}

Sometimes we just feel like being serious. And thoughtful.  And at peace with ourselves.  Even when we are being humored by squeaky toys, little dogs, delicate

bubbles, Strawberry Shortcake toys and candy filled pez dispensers.

We really don’t mind being a little sober-sides now and then

because we know that when we smile,

they are seriously SWEET and SPECIAL!!!

Like an after dinner mint.

Peace out!

--- the girlz

PS  Thanks Brett and Mae!  You guys are beautiful and so are your daughters!

We had a blast AND we are strangely craving strawberry shortcake. . .

Achilles, English Setter Extraordinaire: {Arizona dog Photographer}

Achilles is an English Setter and beautifully graceful beyond belief. I had never seen an English Setter until I met him and couldn’t get over his long legs and lengthy body. ( I am much too used to our short legged, barrel bodied Yorkie Poo that rules the roost at home.)   His coloring is fun and his red freckled pattern gives hint to his cousin, the Irish Setter.

Achilles has been dearly loved by his family for 10 years and despite his age, he is still very energetic and spry.

We spent a very relaxing morning at  a nearby park where he lounged, loved on his owner, ate apple pieces and fixated on dragonflies.

Thank you Marcia and Achilles for a very fun morning!

Me-Wow: {Arizona Cat Photographer}

I used to be a dog person.  .  .until I met this beauty.  Kira  is her name and wowing is her game.  Maybe it is because I am used to staring at my dog’s dark eyes but I could not get over Kira’s beautiful green eyes that were even more stunning as they are contrasted next to her silky black hair.

Can’t stop staring.

Help me!

(PS Kira was rescued from a pound.  Consider saving a cat or dog today!)

Halloween Part 2

I am just not getting enough of cute children dressed in their Halloween best!  This little family made me feel like popcorn and  my favorite Toy Story lines. . .

”There’s a snake in my boot”

“To infinity and beyond!”

“You calling me a liar?”

Trick or Treat sweeties!!!!!

Happy Howl-o-Ween! {Arizona Halloween and Special Occasion photographer}

Somehow we were able to sneak in our pre-Halloween photo shoot between some of the most incredible storms I have seen since I moved to Az.  These adorable kids braved the mud and haunted forest that turned out to be much more spooky than we anticipated when the coyotes started howling in the middle of the session.

I am thinking they are going to get A LOT of candy this year!!!!

(See these in color on my Face Book Fan Page and be watching for a Halloween mini session to be announced)
