AZ Head Shot Photographer

I love doing head shots and so I was thrilled when Jodi asked me to do some photos for her website (up and coming, will post link when it is done).

I felt like I was doing a photo shoot for a graduating senior.

Who would guess that this young looking, experienced realtor is a  mother of 4?

Yep, she works here.

Look for Jodi Wilcox.

If you are in need of a head shot, this is a great offer.

$45 mini session includes --

  • 10-15 min out door photo shoot
  • several poses
  • private online album
  • your choice of 3 high resolution jpeg images sent by email
  • print permission to develop where you choose
  • Bring a friend and get a $5 discount

American Brittany. Beautiful. {Arizona Pet Photographer}

Meet 7 year old American Brittany, Kadie.

She is my new favorite Ginger.  I love saying Ginger.  I say it in a British accent—Jinja.

“Hey, did you see that lively jinja on a walk?”

“Come here little jinja, can I pet you for a year?”

“Your jinja fur matches your brown eyes.”

Jinja, jinja, jinja.

Ok.  I am done now.

Kadie responds to “lizard,” “cookie” and “watch” and has THE softest fur.  She is a great hiking companion and LOVES to be outside.

I think she gets her sweetness from her owners.  Love you guys!

And, I love you Jinja Kadie.

Got noticed.

Here (brothers and bug)

and here (banana).

The only thing better than the satisfaction I get from taking and enjoying pictures, is finding others who enjoy them too.

I really love the great information I have gotten from I Heart Faces and Pioneer Woman.  They helped me learn how to be a photographer, because 3 1/2 years ago, I knew NOTHING about DSLRs.  If you are looking for simple and easy to understand tutorials on  photography, those two places are my favs.

Happy picture taking!

Uninvited Guests. {Arizona Teen Photographer}

What would you do if you had uninvited guests make an entrance into your photo shoot?

I was invited.  I have the camera.

She was invited.  She has the sweetness, beauty and grace of a young lady who will soon be turning 16.

And sweetness.

And now the uninvited guests are about to arrive

And when beauty, grace and sweetness saw the look on my face of “Oh.  My.  Gosh.  Oh. My. Gosh.  Oh. My. Gosh.” which she misread as horror (I obviously need to work on my facial expressions), she jumped out of the water until she too saw our uninvited guests.

They are wild, yes, I said WILD mustangs!

Here is a great read about them.

For me, this was a dream come true.  A check mark on the bucket list I guess I need to start.

For beauty, grace and sweetness?  The most amazing background props EVER!

And then our uninvited guests invited us to stay a while.

So we did.

(P.S. I know her dad, he will be accepting applications for potential suitors when she is about 18. I also know he probably owns a machete.)
